History & brand DNA
Fossil Group was founded in 1984 in Richardson, Texas, by Tom Kartsotis. The brand quickly established itself with an American style inspired by the 1950s: vintage dials, round cases, brown leather straps. Today Fossil Group is also the licensed manufacturer of watches for Armani, Michael Kors, DKNY, Skagen and Diesel. Original Fossil watches retain this retro-modern DNA with a strong diversity of collections (Heritage, Machine, Privateer).
Iconic models
Flagship collections: Grant (44 mm chronograph, brown leather, highly sought-after), Nate (oversized barrel case, industrial look), Jacqueline (women's, mother-of-pearl or sunray dial, Milanese mesh bracelet), Carlie (minimalist women's, 28 mm, interchangeable straps). The Hybrid Smartwatch range combines analogue dials with basic connectivity.
What we check before dispatch
Fossil technical specifications: movements are primarily Miyota (Citizen) quartz. On automatics (Townsman, Buchanan), the Fossil ME-301x movement is visible through a sapphire caseback, verify it turns freely. The case back bears the reference FS5xxx or FTW for smartwatches. Interchangeable straps: check the condition of the quick-release system (metal tab which must not be bent).
