Question 1

How do I care for a women's watch leather strap?

Accepted Answer

Protect it from water, moisture and contact with perfumes and creams, which harden it or stain it. Apply your perfume before wearing the watch, remove it before showering or swimming, and wipe it with a dry cloth. For light leather, a gentle leather-specific cleanser preserves the lustre. These simple steps keep the strap supple and beautiful for several years.

Question 2

What colour leather strap for a woman?

Accepted Answer

Black and cognac are the most versatile and suit all outfits. Nude, white and pastel tones bring softness and freshness, perfect in spring and summer. Brown leather flatters gold jewellery and cases, black pairs with silver. For a versatile, timeless watch, go for black or cognac; for a seasonal accessory, try light shades.

Question 3

Does light-coloured leather strap get dirty quickly?

Accepted Answer

Light leather (nude, white, pastel) is more prone to marks and colour transfer (denim, bags) than dark leather. This is not a deal-breaker: by avoiding contact with water and textiles that bleed, and cleaning it regularly with a gentle leather-specific product, it stays clean for a long time. If you often wear dark clothing, cognac or black leather will be more forgiving in daily wear.

Question 4

What strap width for a slim wrist?

Accepted Answer

For a slim wrist, a strap of 12 to 16 mm refines and balances the watch, in keeping with a case of 28 to 34 mm. A wider strap (18 mm and above) makes a bolder boyfriend style statement. The lug width is shown on the product sheet and also determines which replacement straps are compatible, easy to change yourself with a small spring bar tool.

Question 5

Can you easily replace a women's leather strap?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most watches use spring bar lugs: with a small spring bar tool, you remove the old strap and clip the new one on in minutes. You just need to choose the correct lug width (shown in mm on the product sheet). It is a simple and economical way to refresh the watch's style, or to switch from a dressy leather to a more casual model depending on the occasion.
