Question 1

Is the women's silicone strap comfortable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, its flexibility hugs the wrist without creating pressure points, even when worn snugly. Medical-grade silicone is very lightweight, making it ideal for sport or continuous day and night wear. Its smooth surface doesn't stick to skin and avoids the trapped heat effect of other synthetic materials.

Question 2

Does silicone resist water and swimming pools?

Accepted Answer

The strap itself is completely unaffected by water, chlorine and salt. However, immersion depends on the case water resistance, expressed in ATM or metres on the product sheet. Allow for at least 5 ATM for swimming and 10 ATM for competitive swimming or surface diving.

Question 3

How do you clean a women's silicone strap?

Accepted Answer

A simple rinse with lukewarm water is enough after a sports session or swim. For stains or sebum marks, use a drop of mild soap and a soft-bristled brush, then dry with a cloth. Avoid solvents and alcohol which can dull the finish and soften the material over time.

Question 4

Is silicone suitable for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely: silicone is hypoallergenic and its non-porous surface traps neither bacteria nor allergens. It significantly reduces redness and itching often caused by metal or certain treated leathers. To preserve this advantage, simply keep the strap clean and dry between prolonged wears.

Question 5

Silicone or leather: what to choose for summer?

Accepted Answer

For summer, silicone wins hands down: it tolerates perspiration, sea water and sunscreen without degrading. Leather, on the other hand, risks hardening and staining with moisture and heat. Save leather for formal evenings and keep silicone for the beach, sport and outdoor days.
