Gianni Versace founded his fashion house in Milan in 1978. The Versace style: unashamed excess, gold plating, baroque aesthetics, sensuality. The Medusa Head became the iconic symbol of the house from 1978 onwards. Following Gianni's assassination in 1997, his sister Donatella took the helm. The Versace watch line is today produced in partnership with Timex Group (since 2010). Versace watches are the direct extension of the house's haute couture style.

What we check before dispatch
Versace authentication checkpoints: the Medusa Head on the dial or crown must be perfectly defined, with the hair (serpents) clearly visible. On gold-plated models, the gold plating must be uniform with no dull or oxidised areas. Swarovski crystals (on Vanity) must be present and striking under light. The case back bears the inscription 'Versace Timex Group' with the reference number.
