It is the house emblem: a royal globe topped with a cross and encircled by a ring inspired by Saturn. It first appeared as a pendant at the Harris Tweed autumn-winter 1987-1988 show and sums up the designer's idea of bringing tradition into the future. On most of our watches it sits below the 12; on the Orb, it covers the whole dial and also hangs as a charm.

They are produced under licence. In 2010, the house granted Zeon, a subsidiary of the Herald group, a worldwide licence to design, market and distribute its watches, which were first presented at Baselworld in 2011. All the watches we sell are quartz, and several recent lines carry the words “Swiss Movement” on the dial.

It is the inscription on the Sydenham and Lady Sydenham. It sits above the designer's motto, “Buy less, choose well, make it last”, printed in three lines below the centre of the dial.

Yes, but there are few: the house mainly designs for women. We offer the Sydenham with a black dial, on a steel bracelet or black perforated leather strap, as well as the Eltham, Cadogan and Bank, measuring 35 to 40 mm.

The large majority of our models are water resistant to 50 m (5 ATM): they withstand rain, splashes and washing hands, but not swimming. A few more dressy models are rated to 30 m, and the pearl-bead bracelet watches should be kept away from water.
