Our selection of Diesel men's watches brings together new, authentic pieces, all with quartz movements, from the compact 42 mm D-Sruptor to the 57 mm case of the Mr Daddy 2.0. Two lines account for most of our sales, almost equally: the Mr Daddy 2.0, with its four time zones, and the Mega Chief, a 51 mm chronograph with a crown guard plate. Black dominates our cases, ahead of silver-tone steel, anthracite and gold tones.
Our sales make it plain: at Diesel, our customers buy big. Models under 47 mm rarely sell, while the 51 mm and 57 mm sizes account for most orders. To choose your size, our guide to oversized Diesel watches sets out the measurements that matter.
Best-Selling Diesel Models on Our Sales
Our best-selling Diesel is the Mega Chief DZ4360 in gold-tone steel, followed by the Mr Daddy 2.0 DZ7333, with a gold-tone case and black dial. Gold makes up only a small share of our range, but it is the finish that sells fastest per model, and it is also the Diesel finish most sought after in France: customers look for a gold Diesel men's watch more often than a black Diesel.
All-black remains the best-selling finish by volume: the Mr Daddy 2.0 DZ7468, with its dial and embossed scale-effect links, is among our most requested Diesel watches, alongside the Mega Chief DZ4318 with iridescent glass and the Mega Chief Skull Rainbow DZ4582. Silver-tone steel, by contrast, sells noticeably more slowly than black or gold. If that is your preference, the Mega Chief DZ4308, with a black dial and red seconds hand, is the most popular choice.
Choosing Your Diesel Watch by Diameter, Material and Style
On a Diesel, measure the length as well as the diameter: a Mega Chief is 51 mm wide and about 59 mm long lug to lug, while a Mr Daddy 2.0 is 57 mm wide and 66 mm long. If the lugs overhang your wrist, the Griffed (48 mm) or the Spiked (49 mm) keeps the Diesel spirit with less wrist presence. Our Mega Chief guide compares the versions.
In terms of use, the water resistance listed on our product pages varies from one line to another: 10 ATM (100 metres) on most Mega Chief models, and 3 ATM (30 metres) on the Mr Daddy, so keep these away from swimming. The strap sets the character: steel for a gold-tone or silver-tone Mega Chief, tan leather for the anthracite Mr Daddy DZ7332, and silicone for sporty use, as with the black Mega Chief DZ4378.
