History & brand DNA
Olivia Burton was founded in 2012 in London by Jemma Wynne and Lesa Bennett, two British entrepreneurs who wanted to create a brand of women's watches with poetic and accessible design. The bee quickly became the signature symbol of the house, present on the majority of models. The brand experienced rapid growth in Great Britain and then internationally, and was acquired in 2017 by Movado Group, which has since ensured worldwide production and distribution. The creative studio remains in London to preserve the poetic British identity.
Iconic models
The Olivia Burton watch range is organised around three main universes: Lucky Bee and 3D Bee (signature with bee engraved or embossed on the dial, rose gold or gold finishes); Milanese mesh (fine straps, rose gold finish, ideal for everyday wear); and floral pattern models (hibiscus, daisy printed on the dial). Format almost exclusively compact women's 28-34 mm, Olivia Burton does not offer unisex or men's formats.
What we check before dispatch
On an authentic Olivia Burton: the signature 'Olivia Burton London' must be sharp on the dial with the characteristic elegant serif typography. The bee (signature) must show visible relief on 3D models, not a simple print. The case back bears the reference OB16 plus letters and number with bee engraving. On Milanese mesh bracelets, flexibility must be uniform with no rigid areas. The magnetic clasp on certain Milanese mesh models must attract firmly. Be wary of counterfeits that copy the bee but with a matte dial finish or flat printing.
