The Fossil Everett FS6117 at a glance
The Fossil Everett FS6117 features a striking turquoise blue dial and a compact chronograph format. This men's watch combines bold colour with practical functionality, the chronograph, in a case with measured proportions. Key points to note:
- Quartz chronograph: precise split-time measurement and instant activation
- 44 mm stainless steel case, neither too slim nor oversized
- Date, 24-hour display, luminescent hands for night-time readability
- 50 M water resistance (5 ATM): everyday wear without worry from rain and splashes
- Turquoise blue dial with contrast that remains legible in daylight
The wrist suited to a 44 mm case
The 44 mm diameter of the Everett suits wrists of 16.5 cm and above. It is a balanced diameter, less bulky than a 45 mm like the Bannon, and more present than a 42 mm. On a slim wrist, the watch remains wearable but will appear generous; on a larger wrist, it finds natural balance. The steel bracelet can be shortened by a watchmaker through link removal; plan for this adjustment for perfect fit from first wear. A case properly positioned on top of the wrist prevents the chronograph pushers from activating against your sleeve. Worn at the office, the Everett adorns the wrist without excess; in casual settings, its turquoise colour adds a distinctive touch that sets it apart from classic black or white dials.
Using the chronograph and date daily
The chronograph counters are activated by the side pushers: press the top to start and stop measurement, press the bottom to reset the counters to zero. Before each new measurement, check that the counter hands have fully returned to zero; if not, a reset is required. The date is corrected by pulling the crown one notch, then turning to the correct date. Remember to advance the date manually after months with fewer than 31 days, as the quartz movement does not manage the calendar automatically. Do not use the quick date correction between approximately 21:00 and 03:00, the period during which the date-change mechanism is engaged and could be forced.
Delivery and warranty for your Everett
The FS6117 is dispatched within 24 to 48 hours with its Fossil box and documentation. It is covered by a 2-year warranty on the quartz movement and manufacturing defects. Our customer service team supports you Monday to Friday for any questions about your order, bracelet adjustment or chronograph use. In the event of a covered fault, we arrange the repair and keep you informed until the watch is returned to you.
The turquoise blue colour of the dial is the Everett's stylistic signature: brighter than a classic navy blue, it catches the light and stands out from common black, white or silver dials. It complements casual wear as well as more formal outfits, adding a note of character. On a wrist of 17 to 18 cm, the 44 mm case finds natural balance and showcases the chronograph subdials without crowding them.
For light sports use, the chronograph easily measures a running time, training interval or cooking duration. Start the measurement with the top pusher, stop it with the same pusher, then read the duration on the counters before resetting to zero. Avoid pressing the pushers underwater or immediately after water contact, to preserve the case's water resistance at the pusher seals.
Finally, each watch is checked before dispatch and delivered with its Fossil box and documentation. If you have questions about operation, bracelet adjustment or maintenance, our customer service team is available Monday to Friday and will support you after purchase. The watch is dispatched within 24 to 48 hours from our stock, with a tracking number sent by email as soon as it is handed to the carrier.
