What sets the vintage line apart, measured against our catalogue

We compared these watches with our full range of Casio women's watches. The differences are modest, and that is information in itself: the vintage style already accounts for the large majority of our Casio women's watches. Three differences nevertheless stand out. The display is entirely digital, whereas about one Casio women's watch in six is analogue or hybrid. The silver case is nearly three times rarer: it appears on about one vintage watch in sixteen, compared with one in six of our Casio women's watches, with gold clearly dominating. Finally, the Casio Vintage line itself makes up nearly four watches in five here, compared with six in ten across the whole range.

The dimensions, by contrast, are identical: 35 mm median diameter, 8 mm thickness and a strap 13.5 mm wide. All display the date, and more than half offer a chronograph function.

Mini sizes, mesh and gold-tone case

The line plays on sizes. A quarter of the models measure 25 mm or less: these are the mini sizes, which are worn like jewellery. The others hover around 35 mm, a size that remains slim thanks to the narrow strap. For a Casio vintage women's watch to wear every day on a slender wrist, the mini size is the most elegant choice; for more comfortable reading of the numerals, opt for 35 mm. Some versions feature a Milanese mesh, more supple than a link bracelet, and most close with a clip clasp.

Water resistance and mesh care

Casio Vintage women's watches are everyday city watches. Roughly two in three are water resistant to 3 ATM: rain and hand washing. About one in five does not exceed 1 ATM, and a minority are not water resistant at all: keep these dry. For the mesh, a pass with a soft brush is enough to dislodge dust; dry thoroughly after any contact with water.
