The 8-compartment watch box format is the missing link between the starter box and the collector's display: two models in our range, both in genuine wood, one of which features a jewellery drawer. It is the quintessential square format: approximately 24 to 28 cm per side, and fits anywhere.

Two 8-compartment watch boxes, two philosophies

The Ravello walnut (23.7 × 21.5 × 11.7 cm, 2 kg) adds beneath its glass top a sliding jewellery drawer: 8 watches on top, rings and bracelets below, within the footprint of an A4 sheet. The Milan espresso (28 × 24 × 12.5 cm, 1.8 kg) focuses entirely on solid wood and metal hinges: no drawer, but generous cushion height for thick cases.

Why 8 rather than 6 or 10?

Moving from 6 compartments (single row lengthwise) to 8 changes the geometry: square tray 2 × 4, deeper, less long. A standard dressing drawer will accommodate it without overhang. And unlike the 10-compartment format, the 8-place wooden box retains here the jewellery drawer option, otherwise reserved for larger formats such as the Bellagio 12-compartment.

Wood, and why it dominates this format

Walnut and solid wood naturally buffer humidity fluctuations, a real advantage for leather straps stored in contact with it. Expect 1.8 to 2 kg when empty: these boxes are designed to stay in place, away from direct sunlight. To transport part of your collection, complement with a watch travel pouch (from 150 g). The Ravello walnut leans towards a warm light brown grain, the natural wood tone; the Milan espresso displays a darker coffee shade, more contemporary, on solid wood. Structurally both are rigid and durable: the choice is primarily aesthetic, depending on the furniture that will house the box.
Yes, the sliding drawer is lined with felt and partitioned: rings, earrings and fine bracelets do not mix. It complements the 8 watch slots on the glass top, making it the all-in-one solution for a bedside table or chest of drawers, without multiplying storage boxes.
Perfectly: the cushions compress and accommodate fine straps and cases of 24 to 32 mm without excessive play. For a his-and-hers pair, this format is the right compromise: 4 slots each, shared drawer for jewellery on the Ravello version.
