Hélène Marchetti

Hélène Marchetti is a gemmologist qualified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She grew up in Florence in a family of jewellers, before pursuing a twelve-year career in a luxury boutique in Paris where she advised a discerning clientele on jewellery pieces and women's watchmaking.

At the editorial office, Hélène handles with refinement all subjects linked to aesthetics and sentimental value: gift watches, set pieces, watch-jewellery, important occasions. She knows which watch to give for a birthday, a promotion, a wedding, and explains why with a clarity that is precious to her readers.

When not writing, Hélène hosts conferences on the history of jewellery and hunts for vintage pieces at Parisian antique fairs. Her dual Italian and French background nourishes a sensitive perspective that is reflected in all her articles.
