Sophie Martin

Sophie grew up in the back room of a family jewellery shop in Lyon. A graduate of the Institut National de Gemmologie, she spent twelve years advising customers in store before joining our editorial team. Her speciality: women's watches, from timeless classics to the most contemporary fashion pieces. She knows exactly which watch to give for a birthday, a promotion or a first job. When she is not writing, she hunts for vintage watches at car boot sales in the Lyon region.
